I have some exciting news to share today. Navy Bean now has an Etsy Shop! Here I will be selling my calligraphy services and unique custom stationery and favors. Weekend Fun

Hope you all had a nice 4th of July weekend. We had a blast as always in Newburyport, MA. We even got to hit up the beach at Plum Island. Fun in the sun!

Navy Friday

I'm cutting out a little bit early today to enjoy the holiday weekend with my family in Newburyport. Happy 4th of July! See you on Monday!

A Doggie Silhouette

My neighbor's birthday is this weekend so I decided to make her a silhouette of her Boston Terrier, Bella. We get together every afternoon for a puppy play-date so I thought this would be fitting.


The silhouette is hand cut from black cardstock and mounted onto white bristol board. Bella is quite the sassy gal so I hope it reflects her personality!

I also made her a pretty card with a hand calligraphed note.
